Sydney Golden

Chapter President

Hi! My name is Sydney Golden and I am a second year student intending on majoring in Law, Society, and Justice with a minor in Public Policy. I am from the sunny state of Arizona and I’m always looking to explore more of Seattle and the Pacific North West.  I hope to go to law school post-grad intending to pursue Human Rights or Immigration Law! My dream is to live on the east coast, preferably Boston which I fell in love with as a kid. Some of my favorite things to do are watch movies with friends, go to the beach, and hike, all of which I have been lucky to share with so many of my Delta Gamma sisters. One of my favorite DG memories was the first snowday I got to experience, throwing snowballs with my friends and walking around the beautiful snow-covered campus. I am so excited to give back to an organization that has given me so much as well as take on a more involved role in something I am so passionate about. Delta Gamma has given me countless fond memories and friendships I hope to carry on with me forever!

Alexandra Foley

Vice President of Social Standards

Hi, I’m Alexandra Foley, a second-year Chemistry major minoring in the Comparative History of Ideas. Beyond classes, I enjoy sailing on the university’s team, as well as exploring Seattle and hiking with my friends. Since the beginning of my time at the University of Washington, I have been so fortunate to find friends and a home in Delta Gamma, where I have gone on many of these adventures. Being from California, I feel so lucky to have the girls' support as I adjusted to Seattle while also being part of something bigger than myself. All of the women in Delta Gamma are incredibly genuine, inspiring, and I can always count on them, which is what drew me in. I hope to give back to the chapter on CMT, and I am excited to add to the culture of support and kindness that all my predecessors fostered in their respective terms!

In the future, I want to work internationally and pursue my MBA. I love to travel to new places, read fantasy books, and go to music festivals. I am passionate about giving back to the community by volunteering, as well as working in retail. Delta Gamma has supported me throughout my time at UW and given me opportunities to grow like no other. Juliana Nussbaum

Vice President of Member Education

Hey! My name is Juliana Nussbaum, and I am a Sophomore at the University of Washington, currently majoring in Psychology(and hopefully adding a Business minor soon!). I love puzzles, sunset walks, and trying new cheeses! I am originally from Hermosa Beach, California, which is a whole square mile in its entirety. When I moved to Seattle for college, I knew I wanted to meet as many new people as I possibly could, and Delta Gamma gave that to me. A large part of me feeling so welcomed was because of the New Member meetings every Monday, and I am so excited to help the newest members love their home. I love DG and all that it has given to me, and I am so thrilled to give back!

Hi there! My name is Cleo Clark-Athans. I’m a second year student majoring in Environmental Studies & Law, Society & Justice. After college I plan on pursuing law school with the goal of becoming an environmental resource lawyer. I was raised on Bainbridge Island Washington, and have lived here my whole life. I love the Pacific Northwest outdoors that are at our fingertips here. Throughout the year I enjoy, swimming, skiing and exploring new running trails around campus. Yoga is one of my favorite things to do in my free time, you can find me either teaching or taking classes at our nearby Corepower yoga studio. Being in the heart of Seattle also allows me to explore the city, whether it’s a new cafe study spot or waterfront park. Campus life & Greek life have also been an amazing thing to be apart of, and has connected me to so many awesome people. Some of my favorite memories here at UW are husky gamedays, Greek life events, and suntanning at the montlake cut. Delta Gamma has given me more than a home, it’s given me the gift of friendship and laughter. This community has always been a backbone for me, and taught me more than I have ever known about supporting others, and being supported. I am so excited to step into this position for the upcoming year, and be able to share the amazing sisterhood we have with potential new members.
